We offer guided eco-history tours. All tours are by reservation only, and require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.

Our typical tour is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours in duration. The tour includes Marsh, Beach and Maritime history. Tours offer an opportunity to spot Atlantic Bottle Nose Dolphins, River Otters, Marsh Mink, Diamond Back Terrapins, and Manatees. You will also be afforded an opportunity to view the South Wall of Fort Pulaski, the Cockspur Beacon, the North Shore of Tybee and the Old Federal Battery. Please note that it is a wild environment and we can not guarantee that you will see all of these species on a given day.
Tybee is home to more than 200 species of wading and migratory bird, so there is a great chance to spot many species on a typical paddle. Tours usually include a short beach combing expedition where you may have a chance to find small sharks teeth, sea glass, shells and drift wood.
Costal Gorgia is known for its impressive tidal changes, so our tour times vary daily. In essence each tour is custom. We schedule our tours around the easiest paddle window. we cater to beginners and experienced alike.
Our adventures launch from the Tybee Island Marina on Historic Lazaretto Creek. Lazaretto is known for, its patchwork of history, including Indigenous Tribes, Spanish Traders, Pirates and several military conflicts.
